Support
Email support@punchline.business and a person will read it. We aim to reply within two business days. There is no phone line and no chat widget.
Punchline is in development. Loyalty programs are not running publicly yet, so if you are here because of a card in your wallet from a shop you visit, email us — we would genuinely like to know how you got here.
If you have a loyalty card from a shop
Punchline is the software behind the card. The business you visit sets the rules, decides what a reward is worth, and honours it at the counter.
My stamps or points look wrong
Talk to the business first. They can see your history and correct it, and they are the only ones who can decide what you are owed. We keep the record; we do not set the rules and we never hold any money or balance on your behalf.
If the business tells you the software is at fault, ask them to email us, or write to us yourself and name the shop.
My card is not updating
Wallet passes update in the background, and the phone decides when. Opening the pass in your wallet app usually prompts a refresh. Check that the pass has automatic updates enabled in the wallet app’s settings for that card.
I want to remove the card
Open the pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, open its details or overflow menu, and choose the option to remove or delete it. That is entirely your phone’s doing and does not need anything from us.
Removing a pass stops it updating. It does not by itself erase the history the business holds — for that, see the next question.
I want my data deleted
Email us at support@punchline.business and name the business whose program you joined. We will route the request and confirm when it is done.
Your rights, and what we can and cannot delete, are set out in the privacy policy.
I am getting messages I did not ask for
Every message should carry a way to stop receiving them. If one does not, tell us and we will treat it as a fault, not a preference.
If you run a business
How do I get an account?
Access is invitation-only while we build. Email us with what you sell and how you reward regulars today, and we will tell you honestly whether we are ready for you.
I cannot sign in
Sign-in is at the sign-in page, and it only works for accounts that have already been invited. If you are turned away with an access error, that is what it means — write to us and we will sort it out.
What should I put in a support email?
The name of your business, roughly when the problem started, and what you expected to happen instead. If it involves a specific customer, describe them by their card rather than by anything personal — do not send us more about them than you have to.
Reporting a security problem
If you have found a vulnerability, email support@punchline.business with “Security” in the subject line. Tell us what you found and how to reproduce it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a problem in good faith and gives us a reasonable chance to fix it before going public.
